The nature trail that runs near the village of Tvärminne is defined by dunes and dry meadows. In the dune area, as well as in the forest areas of beach in the village of Lappohja, you might see even a nightjar or a woodlark. The nature around the village is diverse. There are several rare or endangered plant and animal species along the route, many of which have been protected under the Nature Conservation Act. Wild plants are most beautiful when they bloom and where they grow. Along the path there is an accessible area where you can rest and have a barbeque. It’s a lovely place to observe birds and the beautiful surrounding nature.
