Hanko 365 Hangö is a digital magazine, and online content platform that brings together stories about the people, phenomena, and places of Hanko. The pages feature cultural creators, entrepreneurs, professionals working in nature, and even the city’s historical layers. The magazine covers everything from villa culture to harbors, outdoor trails to wellness, and winter Hanko to the maritime light.
In recent years, the city has actively developed year-round tourism and sustainable urban culture. As a tangible recognition of this work, Visit Hanko was awarded the Sustainable Travel Finland destination label at the end of 2025, the thirteenth region in Finland to receive it. Visit Hanko’s tourism manager, Maria Nordström, emphasizes that visitor numbers in Hanko have developed positively. This reflects a change in perception, where Hanko is increasingly seen as a peaceful, responsible, and experiential destination all year round.
