The nature trail at Tvärminne Zoological Station is open to the public and can be visited all year round. The nature trail runs through a nature conservation area with diverse natural values, and the information signposts on the special features of nature were completed in spring 2025.
The nature trail welcomes you to an area of natural diversity with a wealth of rare and endangered plant and animal species.
Along this trail the nature is remarkably varied; from lush groves to species-rich dry meadows and barren rocky ground. Along the trail there is a viewpoint with stunning views of the Baltic Sea.
The blue-marked nature trail is 1.7 km long and is situated in a nature reserve. Information signposts placed along the trail provide information on the natural characteristics of the area and the importance of biodiversity.
